Teen Classes (ages 12+): Teen classes were designed to offer a variety of techniques to those not quite ready for adult classes.

From Mosaic to Stained Glass
June 18-July 23 (6 wk)
Wednesdays 3-5 pm $70+ $20 material fee
Learn the basics of cut glass art work. Each student will leave this class with a finished product.

June 23-June 27 2 pm-4 pm $70 + $15 material fee
From charcoal to oil painting this class will unlock the mysteries of art as you explore a different form of artwork each day.

Sketching into Watercolor
July 14-July 18 1 pm -2:30 pm $70 + $10 material fee
Learn about basic sketching then learn how to apply watercolor in order to enhance your sketches.

Watercolor with Lester Lee

Bring a sack lunch and spend a day learning from one of Utah’s finest watercolorists. Make sure to register early to ensure a space in this popular workshop. Come prepared with your own art supplies and references from which to work. **

Troika

TUITION: $330/3 days, $125/1 day, $50/3 hour session or demo
After studying Russian Impressionism in St. Petersburg, Russia under Igor Vademoch Petrov at the Repin Institute, this troika* of great artists join together to teach a three day workshop emphasizing three media: oil, watercolor and pastel. Come enjoy 3 days, 3 experienced teachers, 3 times the training.

THERESA OTTESON has a BFA from the University of Utah. She has taught at the Peterson Art Center, taught Workshops for Young Authors Conferences in Germany, and has won many awards for her artwork including Best of Show at the Bountiful/Davis Art Center.
Open Forum Oil Painting

Designed to accommodate the experienced oil painter’s need to work at their own pace. Come work on your own paintings alongside your peers in an open forum environment. No formal instruction will be given.**

Back by popular demand, this open forum of drawing from life will give artists an opportunity to work alongside their peers. Models will be provided and there is no formal instruction. Serious artists only.

TUITION: $60 (3 CLASSES)
From beginner to advanced artist, this class is designed to help each artist fine tune their oil painting technique. Bring your own projects and get individualized help and attention from this talented artist. Class will be held on an ongoing monthly basis with occasional demos from guest artists.
