BSI Host

With over 200 performers coming to BSI we need dozens of families along the Wasatch Front to host 2-4 international guests. We appreciate the week-long commitment our host families make to Summerfest.

Host families are needed to house and care for our international guests. This involves a one week commitment – from July 31st  through August 6th , 2011. It is a great opportunity for families to experience, first-hand, the culture of another country. It also promotes world-wide friendship and understanding as the visitors take home their impressions of our fair cities.

Every year, we are in great need of host families. We are also in need of members of the community who can speak the language of any of the countries that will be sending groups. Although each group brings an interpreter, not every person in the group speaks English. It is very helpful when bi-lingual members of our community agree to act as host families but it is not required to know a foreign language in order to host. Hosting is an enriching experience that produces life-long friendships.
