DAVIS SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENT EXHIBITION

ON VIEW: MARCH 17 – APRIL 29 2023 | OPENING RECEPTION: FRIDAY MARCH 17, 6:00PM AWARDS ANNOUNCED AT 7 PM

        Each year Bountiful Davis Art Center hosts the Annual Davis School District Student Exhibition, a juried show of the best student art in all media by high school and junior high students from Davis School District. This exhibition gives students the opportunity to show their artwork in a professional gallery space where it is juried and judged by a working artist. The 2023 Davis School District exhibition contains over 90 artworks from students across Davis County. Young talent shines brightly in one of our best DSD shows ever!

        This show has been co-juried by Aimee Odum and Jeffrey Hampshire. Aimee Odum is an artist, educator, and curator. She received her MFA in Ceramics from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and recently organized The Space Itself, an independent exhibition at The Boiler in Brooklyn, NY. Jeffrey Hampshire is a Utah-based artist who recently graduated with a BFA from Brigham Young University in April of 2021. Hampshire has been involved with many group collaborations, some of which have shown at BYU, U of U, personal venues, and other locations within Utah.
