Jan 6 - Gauguin Chalk Pastel Tropical Landscape Make an imaginative pastel landscape inspired after the travels of artist Paul Gaugin to Tahiti.
Jan 13- Georgia O'Keeffe Pedernal Mixed Media Landscape Georgia O'Keeffe was known for painting a famous mountain called the Pedernal which she could see from her studio window. Take your turn to paint this unique mountain with mixed media collage.
Jan 20- David Hockney Pastel Resist David Hockey is a British artist who is known for his bright whimsical landscapes that emphasize the terrain through line. Use oil pastels to create your own imagined landscape after his style and then use watercolor to fill in the terrain.
Jan 27- Landscape in Utah - Learn about the contemporary Landscape movement in Utah and the many artists working here in that genre. This work is inspired by the breathtaking surroundings that we live in. Talk about the principles of landscape painting and make an image of Arches National Park
All materials are provided. Masks are also required.
