Drawing with Yarn Workshop

Join us for a fun and creative evening where you’ll design your own composition using yarn! This hands-on workshop is inspired by our current exhibition, Statewide Emerging Artist Annual. If you missed the opening, this is a great chance to explore the show and see how artists like Pablo Cruz Ayala, Phoebe Davenport, Margot Sheperd, Ana Castro, Sydney Porter Williams, Tiffany Hunter, and Rosanna Lynne Welter incorporate yarn and thread into their artwork to build shapes, forms, and layers of meaning.

In this workshop, you’ll use colorful yarn and foam sheets to “draw” by pasting yarn directly onto the surface, creating your own vibrant composition. There’s no limit to your imagination—make your design as detailed or simple as you like!
