Procreate (Digital Illustration) with Megan Hindman

Procreate, the affordable yet powerful digital drawing app on the iPad, has made digital illustration more portable and accessible. This class will help you get the most out of this creative app with the use of layers, outlines, brush settings, effects, color palettes, gesture controls, and more. Whether you have limited experience with the app or have never used it before, this class is open to all skill levels! Even artists who have already learned the basic tools of Procreate would benefit from this comprehensive instructional class, as we will be learning methods for digital art-making that can be applied to Procreate and other digital art programs.Students will need to bring their own iPad, Apple Pencil, and the Procreate app installed on their device. Note: If you are using a stylus or drawing pen that is not the Apple Pencil, I encourage you to find an alternative stylus that has pressure sensitivity. While some drawing pens may be compatible, without pressure sensitivity, you will be limited in the kinds of marks you can make in Procreate. It can be harder to adjust to, and give you a steeper learning curve.
