Watercolor Workshop: Painting Landscapes - A Loose Approach

Ages 14+

Watercolor is one of the most colorful, meditative, and magical mediums around. It can also be one of the most difficult, but artist and art educator Kara Aina will break down the process of painting with watercolor to create inviting compositions and help you become even more intrigued with this fascinating medium.

Kara combines a mix of traditional and non-traditional techniques as well as several skill-building exercises that will help you build confidence in watercolor, loosen up, and enjoy the process.

In this workshop, participants will couple newly learned watercolor techniques with a reference photo and will learn how to create a loose 5x7” watercolor landscape. Materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.
