Josephine Munro

Born and reared in Utah, Josephine Munro has always drawn and painted from a young age. Her upbringing supported such activities. From portraits to still lifes, she has always loved the act of “seeing” and translating the seen to the picture plane. There are a variety of subjects that hold her interest and encourage transposing to canvas or paper.

 

Currently residing in Millcreek, Utah, with her two daughters, Josephine has taught Jr. high and High School for 14 years. She has also taught classes to adults and children of different age groups. Teaching art has been her passion for years, and she hopes to continue teaching art as long as possible. Art is her lifeline, and she is constantly thinking in the context of the visual.
