 Reception:

Each year BDAC asks Utah artists to step outside and create artwork in the plein air tradition. This year's theme, Dry Spell, encouraged artists to examine the climate and drought that has plagued the American West. Guest juror Annie Farley has selected three works to receive cash awards which will be announced at the opening reception.

Guest Juror: Annie Farley

Annie Farley is an Artist who grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah and is now a resident of American Fork. She graduated with her BFA from Utah Valley University and teaches at The Art Studio at Sundance Mountain Resort. She also serves on the Visual Arts Council for The Harrington Center for the Arts, which aims to support local artists, sponsor live music events and create local art experiences throughout Utah County.
