March 9th - 30th
4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Instructor: Chad Crane
This session introduces the basic skills, materials, and techniques of acrylic paint. Students explore the limits and potential of acrylic paint, develop an understanding of rendering light and shadow, investigate color theory, and experiment with nonlocal color portraiture.
Participants will need to acquire their own panting supplies; however, on the first day of class, the instructor will provide supplies to sample. This enables participants to test options and make more informed purchases.
