Basic Watercolor Class for Adults 55+ with Jennifer Love
Adults 55+ Saturdays, 1:30-3:00 pm April 13-June 1 (8 sessions) Cost: Free Anyone can learn to paint! Come learn the basics of setting up a watercolor palette, loading paint, and a few brushstrokes. During the last session, students will display art work created in the class and socialize.

In this class, participants will learn the basics of setting up a watercolor palette, how to use round watercolor brushes, load paint, and basic bruststrokes. Students will learn about color by creating a color wheel and will have an introduction to color mixing to create desired hues. Students will learn to paing with and without a pre-sketch, how to create texture in paintings, and how to layer paint on the paper to create value.
The last class will invole each student brining his/her favorite two painting from class assignments to share with the other student in the classroom. We will have refreshments. If possible, each student cal also invite guests. In addition to the exhibition, photos of artwork will be taken and assembled in a digital presentation that will be emailed to each students.
The class is free to students but each student must reserve a place in the class. Each student will be asked to evaluate the class upon completions. Class enrollment is limited is 12.
