Born and raised in Utah to a rich pioneer heritage, Elmer Presslee is a multimedia artist living in Salt Lake City. Drawing inspiration from America’s refuse— be it music, secondhand goods, and discarded 20th century ephemera— Presslee reimagines materials with a sense of absurdity and dark humor. Presslee’s works have been exhibited nationally and internationally with viral acclaim for his playful yet sinister style. Flannel Void marks his first solo exhibition in his home state since 2017.
