October 7 Leaf printing-
Use nature to make your art! Students will make a beautiful fall painting using real leaves as prints. Everyone will make one colorful 12 x 18 print!
October 14 - Van Gogh Sunflowers relief printing
Learn about the artist Vincent Van Gogh and then recreate one of his famous sunflower paintings using a relief printing technique.
October 21 Jasper Johns Numbers Print
Jasper Johns was known for his prints of numbers. Learn about the artist and then, use household items such as forks and straws to create unique patterns.
October 28 Joan Miro styrofoam block prints
Artist Joan Miro was known for his whimsical shapes and lines. Learn about the artist's techniques and inspiration and then make a block print inspired by his work.
All materials are provided. Masks are also required.
