The 2023 Winter Art Market is an indoor marketplace that provides local artisans + makers the chance to sell high-quality arts and crafts to the community in a festive, creative space.
All products in our Winter Art Market are original, handmade, repurposed, designed or produced locally, and priced for every budget from $5-$400. Several artists have also have donated one-of-a-kind ornaments for our annual ornament tree, with proceeds going to support the BDAC.

2023 VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED
IMPORTANT DATES:

September 30th - October 13th: Applications open for 2023 Winter Art Market

October 17th: Acceptance emails sent by October 17th at the latest (check your junk mail. It may be in there.)

November 6-11, 2024 : Booth setup and art drop-off

November 17th: Winter Art Market opening reception from 6-8 PM

November 17th - December 23rd: Winter Art Market on display at BDAC

January 8 - 10, 2024: Booth take down and product pickup during BDAC business hours.

Checks will be mailed to participants within two weeks after show closing.

2-D/ Wall Hanging Art:
-
Artists may bring up to four large 2-D pieces (longer than 16” in any direction) AND up to five small 2-D pieces under (shorter than 16” in any direction).

All art should arrive ready to display with all necessary hardware. All 2-D wall art must have D-rings and wire on the back. Small eyelets and sawtooth hangers are not compatible with our hanging system.

Each artist's work will be displayed salon-style in the Main and Annex Galleries.

3-D Art/Other Handmade Items:

Each vendor is responsible for providing his/her own table (up to 6’ long). Please indicate the table size/expected booth size in your application.

If you would like to use our pedestals for your 3-D works, please indicate so on your application. BDAC has a limited supply of pedestals and will offer these on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Participants are required to bring their own stands, racks, jewelry busts, or other items for displaying their products.

If you would like to share a table with another accepted vendor, please make your own arrangements.

PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS:
All products in our Winter Art Market are required to be original, handmade, repurposed, designed or produced locally.
All artwork and other items must be priced $400 or less. Each vendor will receive approximately 6 feet of table space and/or 6 feet of wall space to display their work.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

No booth/vendor fee is required at this market. Artists will receive 65% of all sales and 35% will go to BDAC.

In place of a booth fee, we kindly ask that all artists create a handmade ornament to hang and sell on our Artist Tree that will be displayed at the art center during the Winter Art Market and Gingerbread Festival. All ornament proceeds will be donated to BDAC.

All products in our Winter Art Market are required to be original, handmade, repurposed, designed or produced locally. If you have questions about eligibility, please contact our Exhibitions Director, Bren Larsen, at bren@bdac.org

All vendors are required to clearly label each product with the artist’s (or company’s) 3-letter code and price. Your 3-letter code will be emailed to you upon acceptance as a vendor.) All purchases must go through the central check-out at the BDAC front desk.

All vendor applications must be submitted digitally below.

Vendors are not required to stay with their products during the show.

All artwork and other items must be priced $400 or less.

No food vendors will be allowed at this market.

Pick-up is January 2-6, 2024 during BDAC business hours. There will be a $25 late fee if items are not picked up before the evening of Jan. 6, 2024
