Learn about your favorite artists and explore your artistic skills!

Tuesday May 31- Yayoi Kusama Cat

Using the polka dots that Kusama is famous for, make a collage with a pastel drawing of a cat.

Wednesday June 1- Alexander Calder Mobile

Construct a variety of 3D fish using wires, pipe cleaners, and beads and then string them together in a balanced mobile-like modernist mobile maker Alexander Calder.

Thursday June 2nd- Andy Warhol Repeated prints

Practice your printmaking skills by drawing your favorite animals on a foam block and then printing them repetitiously like POP artist Andy Warhol on a collaged surface.

Friday June 3rd- Jean-Michel Basquiat Dinosaur

Develop your own signature style, like American artist Basquiat.  Paint an expressionist background and then using a drawing guide, create your own customized dinosaur on top in oil pastel.
