Books as Art: Learning the Lotus Fold with Nancy Steele-Makasci

Ages 16+

Nancy Steele-Makasci will present a variety of her own artist’s books that creatively combine her preferred media of printmaking, drawing, and painting. She will then teach how to make one of her favorite unique book structures. This is a fun and playful book that looks remarkably complicated. It is, however, surprisingly easy to make. Also, it doesn’t take long to put together. It is referred to as the Lotus Fold Book.

This workshop coincides with Nancy Steele-Makasci's solo exhibition titled MAKE NO BONES ABOUT IT on display in the main gallery.
