Create your Own Vinyl Stickers

Have you ever wanted to create your own vinyl stickers to slap on your water bottle or laptop, or perhaps give to friends? It’s easier than you may think! In this two-part workshop, local artist Megan Hindman (@tabbyaddams) will guide students on how to create a strong sticker design and the best illustration methods to color and finish the designs (digital illustration is also welcome and encouraged). The second class session will be a few weeks later where students will meet again with finished designs where the instructor will help prepare the designs for their order through her favorite sticker supplier and order the class stickers for the students (at cost). She will instruct students how they can send their own sticker orders in the future, because making stickers is addicting, you will surely want to create more!

Please note a $10 supply fee is added to the cost of this class, which is the allowance students are given for their sticker order later in the class. The $10 allowance, for example, could buy about 25 stickers that are 3x3 inches. This could be multiple designs totaling 25, like 10 of one design and 15 of another. Students will be shown how to make their own sticker orders and can order more in the future if they like!

Stickers will be printed through a supplier and will be shipped to the students’ mailing addresses when they arrive. Please note it may take up to 3 weeks to receive them after the order is sent.
