Encaustic Sampler with Nancy Andruk Olson

Ages 12+

This workshop is mixed media and focuses on layering materials in an archival way. Participants will produce a painting and then layer ephemera on top using beeswax. They will then have an opportunity to add additional layers through carving and oil-based mediums. This is a fun experimental class. Participants should bring an image they would like to paint or any personal ephemera. All other materials will be provided. Each participant will finish with an 8 x 10 painting on a board.

No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided.
