While focusing on lines and space, students will use white colored pencil and black sulphite paper to draw layers of a landscape before filling them with flora and fauna found in the forest at night. Then they’ll add pops of color to their scene with either a moon and campfire cut from colored paper or a cute cutout trailer colored with colored pencils. Either choice adds emphasis that is further amplified by the contrast created with the black and white drawing.
