Spring Time Crafts with Nancy Andruk Olson

Ages 5-12

Do you need a break to get some spring cleaning done?  Do your kids need something fun and stimulating to do? Drop them off at our Spring Stations Craft day. Kids will do 4 art projects all with an Alice in Wonderland theme, and also enjoy a tea party of their own while they decorate cookies.

Alice Stencil Painting

In this painting, students will use stencils to make a collage-type painting on layers of fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark paint.

Painting our Roses Red

Make your own garden Students will make a foam print of a red rose which they can print repeatedly to create a garden.

King or Queen of Hearts Self Portrait

Using watercolor resist and the queen of hearts as inspiration students will be shown how to make a portrait of themselves and then add gold leaf to their crown.

Paper Tea Cups

Using a pattern, students will cut a teacup out of paper and decorate it in the patterns and colors of their choice

Tea Party Cookies

Have fun taking a break by decorating sugar cookies to eat as a snack in class and sipping lemonade!

No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided.
