Class Description
I’ll guide you through two sessions of pottery classes. Day 1: Learn the basics of throwing and hand building pinch pots. Day 2: Learn scent combinations and choose from four options to melt and mix your wax for candles. Learn pottery skills and leave with two candles for gifting or for yourself. I’ll trim, glaze, and fire your finished pieces. Pickup is at least 24 hours after the second session, just in time for Valentine’s Day. After burning, the pottery vessels can be used for various purposes. Bring a friend and enjoy learning a new craft together! Scent Combinations: Santal - Sandlewood, Bergamot, Juniper (Frasier Fir?), Cardamom, Cedarwood Volcano - Grapefruit, Blue Spruce, Orange/Tangerine, Geranium (rose?) Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are to be paid before the beginning of each class. A spot in a class is not guaranteed until full tuition and fees are paid. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment and Bountiful Davis Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. Fees for classes canceled by the Art Center will be fully refunded. Cancellation/Refund Terms for classes: Classes cancelled by the art center: 100% refund Student cancels before first class: $10 fee (Please e-mail kaye@bdac.org for refund, less $10 fee) Student cancels after beginning of first class: No refund
