Class Description
August 3 – Grand Canyon Students will use pastels on paper to create a layered paper collage that captures the depth, color, and majesty of this breathtaking natural wonder. Focus will be on texture, layering, and creating a sense of scale. August 4 – Niagara Falls Using watercolor resist techniques, students will paint a large, dynamic artwork inspired by the movement and power of this famous American landscape. This lesson highlights contrast, flow, and expressive mark-making. August 5 – Arches National Park With chalk pastels, students will learn how to draw and shade this majestic desert landscape we know so well here in Utah. Emphasis will be placed on rock formations, light, and dramatic shapes. August 6 – Statue of Liberty Using their favorite medium—markers, students will create a detailed drawing of this iconic American symbol. This project focuses on observation, detail, and creative expression.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are to be paid before the beginning of each class. A spot in a class is not guaranteed until full tuition and fees are paid. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment and Bountiful Davis Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. Fees for classes canceled by the Art Center will be fully refunded. Cancellation/Refund Terms for classes: Classes cancelled by the art center: 100% refund Student cancels before first class: $10 fee (Please e-mail kaye@bdac.org for refund, less $10 fee) Student cancels after beginning of first class: No refund
