Class Description
Come join us for three classes in which we will learn different pottery hand-building techniques from coil and pinch pots, to kurinuki style jars, to pendants and figurines. The first two classes will focus on building things out of clay with an emphasis on free design and creative exploration. The third class will focus on us glazing our creations. After our last class I will load our creations into the kiln and then contact you to let you know your creations are ready for pickup! If you have to miss any classes due to vacations, illnesses, or anything else let me know because I am very flexible regarding makeup time. Reach out if you have any questions. We hope to see you soon. :) All materials are included in the class cost. About the Instructor: Bronson is extremely passionate about pottery. Bronson recognizes the importance of patience and encouragement when it comes to guiding young minds towards finding their own creative expression and artistic voices. He also feels that everyone’s minds are uniquely different and believes compassion and empathy are important tools when it comes to teaching art. Bronson enjoys many other forms of artistic expression including watercolor, crochet, acrylic paint, doodling, and more. Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are to be paid before the beginning of each class. A spot in a class is not guaranteed until full tuition and fees are paid. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment and Bountiful Davis Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. Fees for classes canceled by the Art Center will be fully refunded. Cancellation/Refund Terms for classes: Classes cancelled by the art center: 100% refund Student cancels before first class: $10 fee (Please e-mail kaye@bdac.org for refund, less $10 fee) Student cancels after beginning of first class: No refund
