This class is for young artists who are interested in and inspired by the art of anime and manga, whether it be games, movies, shows, or books. There is a wide variety of art styles within these works, and there is so much that can be learned from each of them, such as expression, use of color, character design, and more! A powerful tool for a young artist is learning how to recognize what aspects of a character or style you find appealing, and incorporating them into your own art. In this class, students will be encouraged to delve deep into their interests while building up their technical illustration skills. Experiment with a variety of mediums, practice breaking down anatomy, and create art in this inclusive group of young artists with similar interests!
