Sept 2nd: Helen Frankenthaler Oversized paintings
After watching a video of Helen Frakelthaler using her color field techniques, students will then make an oversized painting using sponges large brushes, and other nontraditional painting techniques.
September 9th: Kandinsky dyed circles
Learn about Kandinsky and his abstract painting techniques and then make a series of dyed circles using various aqueous media including ink, watercolor, and dye
