Halloween Crafts with Nancy Andruk Olson

Ages 5-12

Do you need some time to get things done while your kids do something fun and constructive?  Drop them off at the Halloween Craft day.  They will complete 5 stations with engaging spooky-themed projects and have fun decorating cookies. Come dressed for a mess!

Decorating Halloween/ Fall themed Sugar Cookies

Symmetrical Black Cat Collage- Students will learn about the principle of symmetry in this lesson as they cut out a black cat and collage onto a fall background holding a pumpkin.

Complimentary Color Watercolor Fall Leaves- Using a blue background and orange leaves students can practice a complementary color scheme. They will use watercolor resist to draw leaves on watercolor paper and then paint them in the colors of the season.  They can also experiment with the watercolor technique of using salt on the background to enhance the seasonal look of this project.

Spooky stick Masks- Students can choose from a variety of spooky faces to color with marker and then cut out and glue onto a stick

Ghost Paper plate mobile-  This is a fun 3D project that uses paper plates, and streamers to create a hanging ghost.

No experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided.
