Underground Gallery

The Underground Gallery is BDAC’s most flexible and community-centered exhibition space. Designed to support nonprofit partners, member exhibitions, experimental projects, and mission-aligned collaborations, the Underground Gallery expands access to visual art while strengthening connections between artists, organizations, and the broader community.

Curatorial Approach

The Underground Gallery advances BDAC’s commitment to access, equity, and civic wellness through exhibitions developed in collaboration with nonprofit and community partners. Programming is shaped through shared authorship, inviting partner organizations and artists to bring their knowledge, lived experience, and perspectives into conversation with BDAC’s exhibition expertise.

BDAC works alongside partners to translate ideas into thoughtful, accessible exhibitions that support experimentation and public engagement while maintaining professional standards. This collaborative model often centers the role of art in mental health, social well-being, and cognitive reasoning.

Event Rentals

The Underground Gallery is available for event rentals when exhibitions are on view. Smaller in scale and more intimate than the Main Gallery, the space is well-suited for gatherings that value close viewing, conversation, and engagement with the artwork.

The gallery accommodates comfortable guest flow while preserving the integrity of the exhibition, making it ideal for nonprofit events, talks, workshops, small receptions, and other mission-aligned gatherings.

Booking & Inquiries
